Hopeium

In my meeting today I received some really constructive feedback and now have a fair bit of work ahead of me. However, I had hope in the meeting that one point (which was going to require massive amounts of work) I could actually put into an already existing chapter if I just did a bit of a re-work. I’ve now checked and I really think I can pull it off. This is great because it means a rewrite is in order instead of a full draft. Always good to have hope.

I have to say, I actually have a lot of hope these days. Every time I write (which is every day now thanks to the new regime) I feel like I’m going forwards. It’s a really different feeling than the places I have been with this thesis. Even when I know I need to do a lot of work to address the critique from this morning, it is still moving forward. I may just get this thing submitted yet. It just takes hope.
